Speaking of hirsute champs, remember Pete Sampras?
Pete always played second fiddle to Andre Agassi in the Tennis Hunks Sweepstakes, maybe because Andre had a leonine head of hair whilst Pete was simply losing hair up top? I mean, Andre's gotta be a real badass, too, to have dated the formidable likes of Barbra Streisand (strong personality), Brooke Shields (strong eyebrows) and Steffi Graf (strong, anyway). Meanwhile, Pete got hitched to that sweet and nice Bridgette Wilson.
I always liked Pete better than Andre; I'm one of few people I know who honestly find the good boy image sexier than the bad boy image. Give me Matthew McConaughey over Colin Farrell any old day!
I digress.
So, back to Tennis.
I always found Pete's wooly countenance oddly... intriguing. Sometimes he looks like he hasn't fully evolved. And that's a good thing. It gives him some mystique.
Besides, if he weren't furry, would we have anything more exciting to talk about?
