Asia's Most Hyperactive Gay Boy™ Moans

Hello, Friends!

Yes, I'm battling the bulge, but why moan? I blame the embarrassment of good food around me for my weight gain. Of course it's got nothing to do with my lack of will to exercise or to moderate my eating habits. I'm a mere victim of my circumstances.

But why moan?

Working in F&B does have its perks. I'm always spoilt for choice, I'm always treated well, and my palate is more highly evolved than most, natch. It also means I get to do the most mundane things in the most fabulous fashion, like blog in Aqua, practice my camera in Café Roma, or hold my Mr. Gay Hong Kong meetings in FINDS. That also means I eat, eat, eat every step of the way the way. You don't understand; I eat everything. Twice.

I'm fat? Go figure. At least I'm fat and fabulous. Why moan? As my boss, Anna, would say: "Stop complaining. Run around the block. Twice."

As any war general would advise, ensuring your troops' sustenance is of utmost importance if you want to win any battle.

So last night I invited my team of queen-makers to my favourite stomping grounds, FINDS. We're hatching a battle plan for Heihei Yau in his bid to win the Mr. Gay World title for Hong Kong. I had visions of Rome and of Spartacus, of course - of bloody glory in the arena of pageantry. Of Hong Kong claiming victory against Huns, Aztecs, and all manners of primitive civilizations. We want it all. And why not - we are Hong Kong!

And so whilst we plotted, we speared creamy morsels of the freshest, largest scallops; we tore apart a whole, fatty, juicy roast chicken; we gleefully devoured a humongous halibut. And then we finished off with glorious desserts that inspired more than mere hallelujah's.

It was all so yummy, we collectively moaned.

Heihei Yau will wear a National Costume inspired by the Bank of China tower to reflect the ambition, drive and modernity of Hong Kong people. His Formal Wear is purple - a most imperial colour. His swimwear will allow a peek at his crack, as usual, because that's, like, so trademark Hong Kong boy.

We're battling to win the Mr. Gay World crown.

And we're gonna do it while moaning.

With Affection,
James
