Had buffet lunch today with my work teammates at The Market in Hotel Icon, Tsim Sha Tsui East.
Hotel Icon is gloriously flooded with light. It's a yawning, contemporary space filled with vertical gardens, chic furniture, and touches of beiges and olives. Everything is tactile - feels good to the touch.
Lunch was at the hotel's all-day dining joint, The Market. It was an epicurean orgy of cured meats, raw seafood, exotic crustaceans, Thai and Indian curries, sausages, macarons, cakes, ice cream - EVERYTHING!
After the meal, the restaurant staff came along with a criminally dense cheesecake. My colleagues sang a birthday song.
What a joyful day of sunshine, food and cheer.
Thank you.
With Affection,
James
Yes, this is all sugar...
The level of detail is simply mind-boggling.
