Unlike breast cancer, which has easily captured popular imagination, prostate cancer is not sexy. You're just vaguely aware it's in a place where shit happens. You can't see it, but you'll certainly feel it.
The prostate is sacred, especially to us gay men, who have an infamously insatiable libido. Prostate cancer, then, is for us a most important men's health issue.
