The Mr Gay World 2011 Pool Party may be described in three words: wet, wild and wicked. It was held last night at the roof top of Galleria Regency. 10-piece ska band Skabeche provided live entertainment, and we sang Happy Birthday to Carlos Melia, MGW Director - South America, and Brian Merriman, MGW Director - Europe. We danced with the twinkling sprawl of Manila's lights beneath our happy feet.
The party was fueled by flavoured vodka and MGW's now-famous shockingly tasty-and-sexy canapes. The chicken satay was a home run.
I was super happy and proud to have had the entire Hong Kong contingent with me.
"How do you top Heihei next year?" my good friend, Stephen asked me.
"Honestly, I don't know," I replied.
Who will be proclaimed Mr. Gay World tonight?
