Hello, Friends!
Chris decided to take me to Macau for my birthday, and I agreed without protest.
For a change, we throught we'd stay away from garish casinos and look towards the old town, instead.
And that's how we currently find ourselves at the
Sofitel on Ponte 16, luxuriating in old-world charm, Grand Hotel-style. It's certainly not absent of pomp, but it's far from pompous. Everything is kept elegant and stylish and well maintained. It's quiet here - a respite.
Our room overlooks the charming Macau Inner Harbour, offering a sweeping view of the historical peninsula.
Chris is off to gym and to the pool; I'm obviously blogging (duh) coz
my palm still hasn't healed. But enveloped in such serene grandeur, my recovery process just might speed up...
With Affection,
James

Oh, hey. Here's an idea. Fill up a vase with fruit and water, then top up with bright blooms. Fresh, clean, novel. Fab. Can't wait to try this at home. |
