I feel darn good about myself, OK?
After a stellar
Mr Gay HK 2011 Grand Finale, my coterie of brave sponsors, hardworking production team, overseas VIPs and a tight group of my lovely friends who helped out, deserved a break.
So we had one.
MGHK's vessel,
The White Dragon, sailed forth, festooned in baby pink feathers. Food was catered by celebrity chef
Jaakko Sorsa.
Music was by socialite Johan Karsoho and included a playlist from
Singapore's superstar DJ George Leong. Alcohol flowed freely, including from bottles of precious
blanc de blanc, served by a bartender from one of Hong Kong's most iconic watering holes.
It was the 6th year of
Floatilla, Hong Kong's "Gay Pride on Water."
It was glorious. It was lush. It was extravagant.
It was all about beautiful people, doing beautiful things.
...and world peace.
