DUDE IS RUDE is born. Thanks Marisa!

NUDE IS RUDE designer Marisa Zeman now brings her trademark "pool-to-party" resort and casual wear aesthetic to menswear, with the just-launched DUDE IS RUDE t-shirt. It's classic, versatile and very flattering. The fabric is 95% viscose and 5% spandex, giving it a nice weight and a little bit of stretch without making you look like you're about to jazzercise your way into an 80's fitness video. Comes in black, white and gray; v-neck and round neck.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marisa last year through my dear friend, Peter, who was instrumental in getting Marisa on board as a judge for Mr Gay Hong Kong. Brand partnership with NUDE IS RUDE flowed naturally, even if at that time Marisa was just making clothes for women. Her t-shirts were of beautiful colours and so were her sarongs. They were unisexually purposeful; I thought it was a good fit for my boys.

Yesterday, sexylicious marketing maven Elle Bradstock hosted lunch for Peter, Marisa and myself at se | se | me. Marisa arrived bearing DUDE IS RUDE t-shirts for Peter and for myself. We shared cabbie horror stories, vacations, our views on a variety of personalities including J Edgar Hoover, John Travolta, Neil Patrick Harris, etc. A pageant of beautiful dishes marched onto our table, one after another. The meal ended with ginger marshmallows and wasabi chocolate.

Congrats to Marisa on the launch of DUDE IS RUDE - and thanks for the tee! Thanks to Elle for the lovely meal and warm hugs to dearest Peter for his gorgeous company, as usual.
